ABOUT GROWTHSTOCk investments
Growthstock Investments builds on 25 years of investing into privately owned businesses in the UK.
It is led by Ben Redmond, who graduated with an Agriculture degree before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG.
In 2001 he co-founded Risk Capital Partners, a Private Equity firm focused on backing UK entrepreneurs with equity investments of £3m to £15 million. Between 2001 and 2021 the firm made 25 investments, 24 of which have been fully realised in cash. As part of its activities, in 2008 the firm raised a £74 million maiden Institutional Private Equity fund, RCP II LP. This Fund invested in seven UK businesses returning 3.8x gross on equity invested.

Having distributed all capital and profits of RCP II LP back to investors in 2021, he left Risk Capital Partners in 2022 to continue investing on his own account and helping selected businesses and investors on their growth journey.
Along with this growth capital investment focus he is pursuing his lifelong interest in Agriculture by running a herd of pasture fed livestock, hence the combined name Growthstock Investments. ​

Growthstock continues to be an active investor and holds positions in over 20 businesses. These are split between participations in a number of management buyouts of UK companies across a broad range of sectors, together with a growth capital portfolio of minority investments in UK Agrifood businesses.
